A micro fund for creative connection in Uíbh Ráthach

The Ciste Beag Ealaíon is a micro arts fund created by Cumas Ceantar Uíbh Ráthaigh to support small-scale, community-focused arts projects across the Uíbh Ráthach peninsula. Running annually since 2023, the fund has provided accessible financial support for artists, creatives, and community groups to explore ideas, develop projects, and foster local collaboration.

Designed for both new and established initiatives, the fund prioritises projects that:

  • Encourage community engagement and shared creative experiences

  • Involve or respond to local people and place

  • Use the Irish language

  • Embrace socially engaged arts practice

Applications for the 2025 round of funding are now closed.

The fund is part of Cumas Ceantar Uíbh Ráthach’s wider work as a Creative Places programme, supported by the Arts Council, Ealaín na Gaeltachta, Kerry County Council and our local partners.
